Lewis Tankers distribution contract with Vivergo Fuels

Lewis Tankers has won a three-year distribution contract with Vivergo Fuels to transport bioethanol from Saltend to refineries across the UK. The bioethanol will be blended with petrol to produce more eco-friendly fuels.
Vivergo Fuels expects to turn 1.1m tonnes of wheat into bioethanol every year from its £350m plant.
The Lewis Tankers road haulage distribution service using 20 dedicated road tankers is expected to deliver over 3.5 million litres of bioethanol every week.
