Police and Crime Commissioner Elections – Your Vote!
| October 23, 2012 | Filled under Campaigns, Humber PCC elections, Local Government |
BOOKLETS explaining about the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections have been arriving through doors this week.
The 8-page Police and Crime Commissioner Booklet has been sent out amidst concerns that there will be a low-turnout for the elections on Thursday 15th November and that there is a general lack of knowledge or interest in the poll.
The booklet also explains the voting system which is to be used which allows people to vote for a first and second choice of candidate. The voting system is explained in this video produced by The Electoral Commission, whose About My Vote website also contains lots of other essential information about the elections.
