Can you help support Withernsea RNLI at your Summer Fair?

THE WITHERNSEA LIFEBOAT (RNLI) Voluntary fund-raising Committee is seeking the support of local communities.

The group hopes to attend as many local fairs or fêtes as possible this summer to raise money for this vital life-saving service.

Richard Harries the fund-raising committee’s Press Officer, says:

“We have a professional looking stand which includes tables and a sort of tent roof. We usually bring bric a brac and other second hand items for sale, RNLI official souvenirs and have a sort of raffle type thing that we call the ‘naffle’.

We would hope to come as guests and not pay any large fees if possible, as we obviously are trying to raise money.  Also, hopefully our attendance will be seen as an attraction . We attend wearing RNLI jumpers and badges and look professional and have leaflets and lots of information about the Lifeboats.”

Richard can be contacted on e-mail richard@richardandeileen.co.uk and telephone number 01964 614602.
