KC Community Grants

April 26, 2012 Filled under Community, Funding, Holderness, Hull
No Comments

SMALL GRANTS are available from KC for community groups in the Hull and East Riding area.

Three KC Community Grants of up to £500 are awarded every three months to support community groups, schools, charities and organisations.

The Hull-based telecommunications company has established a local Community Panel which assess applications and makes the small grants awards.

There is a simple online application process in which the applicant group needs to outline how a grant would be used and how communities would benefit. You can also download an application form and send it back in.

The deadlines for submitting applications are:

  • Friday 1st June 2012
  • Friday 7th September  2012
  • Friday 7th December 2012

Find out more at the KC website at KC Community Grants.  You can call Anna Millar, Community Relations Manager, on 01482 602831 if you have any questions. E-mail: anna.millar@kcom.com

If you are a local HU12 or Holderness-based group and you have applied to the KC Community Grants – let us know how you get on at hu12@gmx.com - did you find the application process simple? What did you apply for? Were you successful?

HU12 Online hope to bring regular news and information about funding opportunities in the area. Check out our new Funding category.
