Local Enterprise Partnership

THE HUMBER LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) is asking businesses and local residents to submit their views on its draft Plan for the Humber economy.

A Plan for the Humber has been prepared by the LEP and its partners, with LEP Chairman Lord Haskins leading the work.

There will be a short period of consultation. The LEP aims to agree the final document quickly so work on detailed delivery plans for the main areas can begin over the summer. Task & Finish Groups led by Board members have already been formed to look at small business support and the marketing of the Humber.

There is a mention in the document about local development opportunities at Paull and the establishment of a Paull Energy Park in 2014, but with no supporting details at this stage.
