70th Annual Show – Roos & District Horticultural Society

THE 70th ANNUAL SHOW organised by Roos & District Horticultural Society takes place on Saturday 14th July 2012 at Burton Pidsea Memorial Hall on Back Lane, Burton Pidsea.

There are 37 Silver Challenge Trophies to be won in a whole range of flowers, fruit, vegetables and craft categories. The prestigious Banksian Medal will also be awarded – this can only be awarded by societies affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). The medal is named after Joseph Banks who was one of the founders of the RHS and also sailed with Captain James Cook on HMS Endeavour.

Charity, Craft and Table Top Stalls are available from 2pm with the show opening at 2:30pm and Sports from 3pm. The Presentation of trophies will take place at 4pm by TV chef and food journalist Gerard Baker. Entry £1. Children Free.
