AMY JOHNSON, the Hull-born aviator is the subject of a world premiere production, Amy’s Last Dive, which looks back at her tempestuous life and celebrity lifestyle. Amy was as much a woman of our time as her own.

The sung performances are accompanied by a live classical score composed by Cheryl Frances-Hoad (Opera North Fellow), British Composer of the Year 2010. Written and produced by Adam Strickson. With Natalie Raybould as Amy and featuring students from Withernsea High School.

Two sung performance take place at The Spa, Bridlington on Friday 6th July 2012 at 1.30pm and 7.30pm.

Part of imove, a Cultural Olympiad programme in Yorkshire.
