Hedon Jubilee Celebrations – Schedule

HEDON TOWN COUNCIL has published the provisional schedule for the Celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee next Monday (4th June 2012).

Queens Diamond Jubilee Emblem - webThe approximate running order for events on Market Hill, Hedon is as follows:

5:00pm JAZZ BAND
5:15pm FANCY DRESS COMPETITION
5:45pm SCHOOL/NURSERY PAINTING COMPETITION JUDGING
6:00pm PUPPET SHOW
7:00pm PUBS – TUG OF WAR
7:30pm MAGIC SHOW
8:00pm DAGGER LANE SINGERS
8:30pm ZUMBA DISPLAY
9:30pm LIGHTING OF THE BEACON
10:00pm FIREWORK DISPLAY

All times are approximations. The Jazz Band will be playing throughout the evening.

      Hi Alison – Those wanting to enter the Fancy Dress are asked to turn up at 5:00pm on the day at Market Hill. But for further information you can contact the Town Council on 01482 898428 on Thursday or Friday between 9:30am – 3:30pm.
