Inspirational Speakers at Yorkshire International Business Convention in Bridlington

THE SEVENTH annual Yorkshire International Business Convention (YIBC) at the Bridlington Spa in June 2012 boasts an inspirational line-up of speakers.

The event, which will take place on Friday 15th June 2012, features the ‘Queen of Shops’ and retail expert Mary Portas (pictured). Mary has received lots of recent publicity through her TV documentaries but has also recently advised the Government on the future of our High Streets and Town Centres through her Portas Review.

Michael Portillo is the guest speaker from the world of politics. The former head at Richard Branson’s Virgin business empire Will Whitehorn is also speaking.

From a comedy background we have Rory Bremner and representing sport are olympic athlete Steve Cram and former England football manager Kevin Keegan.

Paul Sewell, Managing Director of the Sewell Group, summed up the line-up of speakers: “YIBC, Bridlington 2012 looks really great! The world’s most revered shopper, a man with incredible inter-galactic’ vision, an Olympian, a top politician, one of the country’s best ever footballers and a former England captain and manager and someone who can impersonate them all in Rory Bremner. I think this might just be the best year yet!”

Event organisers also plan to end this year’s YIBC in Bridlington with a special screening of the speech made earlier that day in a sister event in Leeds, by his holiness the Dalai Lama, on the subject of ethics in business.

The event is being supported by fifteen major sponsors including the East Riding Council, KC, BP, GASSCO and Neil & Brown

Ticket Price: £354.
