Thorngumbald Horse and Pony Show

COMPETITORS AND SPECTATORS will be interested to note that the Thorngumbald Horse and Pony Show is taking place on Sunday 16th September 2012.

The equestrian and show-jumping event takes place at Thorn Marsh Farm, Bellcroft Lane, Thorngumbald, HU12 9JT and has classes and competitions for all ages from the under 8s to adults. The closing date for entries is Wednesday 12th September.

The Fun Classes and Clear Round start at 9.30am, Showing Classes at 10am and the Working Hunter Classes at 11am.

The event is also raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and donations will be collected at the entry to the event and competitors are being encouraged to contribute.

Postal address Thorn Marsh Farm, Bellcroft Lane, Thorngumbald, HU12 9JT may come up as Burstwick in SatNav but the farm is actually in Thorngumbald.

Travelling from the West: join the A1033 heading to Thorngumbald, in Thorngumbald take first right after the zebra crossing (Church Lane). At the crossroads head straight on (Bellcroft Lane). Show field is approximately 1 mile down the lane.

Travelling from the East: on the A1033 heading to Thorngumbald, take the first left after the village sign of Camerton (Hooks Lane, signposted Paull, Paull Fort, Nature Reserve), take the first left (signposted to Stoney Creek & Cherry Cob Sands – Bellcroft Lane). Show field is approximately 1 mile down the lane.
