A TRACTOR RUN aims to raise funds for registered charity Thorngumbald Pre-School.

The Run will start from the Falcon Pub, Withernwick on Sunday 25th March 2012 and will travel a route across the Holderness countryside to Leven.

Tractor drivers will meet from 9am at The Falcon for a 10.30am start; returning to the Pub at around 2:30pm for a pie and pea lunch.

The Thorngumbald Pre-School, which runs from the Village Hall, urges people to support the event in its latest  newsletter:

“We would like to see as many families join in the fun, whether you want to follow in you car, rattle a bucket for donations or just have a look at the tractors. Please try to support this event.”

The event is organised by former farm-manager Geoff Stephenson from Preston. Geoff has over 60 tractors registered for the event who have each paid £10 to take part (which includes lunch).
