TONY WILKES who is a crew member and paramedic with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance is the guest speaker at a Summer Forum being organised by the ERYLINk.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a charity that relies on donations and the generosity of individuals and organisations to help save lives across Yorkshire. Tony’s presentation will give information about the work of the Air Ambulance crew and the background to the organisation and why it costs us £7,200 per day to keep the charity running.

The Summer Forum takes place on Thursday 21st June 2012 at the Key Centre, Christ Church, Bridlington – and will also host workshops on the Community First Responders scheme and First Aid with the British Red Cross.

The event also includes the Annual General Meeting for the ERYLINk membership.

Places are limited so booking is essential. Call Julia Bugg on 01377 232 135 or email julia.bugg@hwrcc.org.uk to reserve your place.

The ERYLINk has also reported the sad news of the death of its Chairman Dr Geoffrey Pearson who died suddenly in Hospital on the 29th May 2012. Joan Fletcher has taken over as Acting Chair for the interim period.
