Yorkshire Enterprise Club launches in Hull – Fri 11th May

THE YORKSHIRE ENTERPRISE CLUB is a major new initiative to support start-up businesses and will launch at an event from 10.30am – 1:00pm on Friday 11th May 2012 at The Octagon Centre, Hull, with Lord Haskins of Skidby making the keynote speech.

The Yorkshire Enterprise Club has been pioneered by the Federation of Small Businesses, but will be developed in partnership with public and private sector organisations across Yorkshire that already support start-up businesses.

Regional Chairman of the FSB, Gordon Millward, said: “We are entering the Enterprise Revolution, which will be remembered in history as the time when an ideas-based culture overtook the traditional concepts of doing business, where the power of the individual – armed with little more than a business vision and a computer – rose to the fore.”

The launch event is FREE and is open to anyone from the business-support community or any person who is in the process of starting a business – either now or in the near future.
