Fix My Street – New design for ‘problem-reporting’ website

Fix My Street snip March 2012

HAVE YOU checked out Fix My Street lately? If not then you are in for a surprise! The neighbourhood problem-reporting website has had a facelift!

Fix My Street makes it easy for you to report neighbourhood problems quickly and easily to your local council. And that experience has just got a whole lot better!

The new design has a golden-look to it and the website interface should adapt according to how you are looking at the site. This should make for easier viewing on mobile phones and tablets like the iPad. The new style maps seem to be much easier to view and navigate than before.

Fix My Street proved very useful last year when residents in Hedon were campaigning against foul smells from the waste water treatment works at Saltend. It meant that complaints could be logged in a very public way that visibly showed the scale of the problem with the odours.

HU12 Comments: We are very pleased with the new design. But how does it work and look on your computer or smart phone? Do please leave a comment and tell us. You might also like to drop off a line to the website creators mySociety as well.
