Hedon Road roadworks notice

February 10, 2012 Filled under EYMS, Holderness, Hull, Paull, Saltend
No Comments

ROADWORKS on Hedon Road will lead to overnight road closures from MONDAY NIGHT 13th February 2012.

The Highways Agency is spending £200,000 on two schemes – resurfacing the westbound carriageway between Marfleet Roundabout and Somerden Roundabout east of Hull city centre, and improvements to Marfleet Roundabout itself.

The westbound carriageway of Hedon Road will be closed between Somerden Roundabout and Marfleet Lane between 6pm and 6am for five nights (Mon – Fri). Diversions should be clearly marked.

On these nights EYMS Bus Service 75 from Hedon to Hull, and the Service 78 bus which runs from Paull at 6.18pm, 8.35pm and 12.15am, will divert via Staithes Road, Preston, Wyton Bar and Holderness Road to the Interchange.

Buses will not be able to serve any stops on Hedon Road from Saltend Roundabout.

Buses travelling from Hull/towards Hedon will not be affected, and neither will any daytime buses.

If you have any questions please give BusCall a ring – they are open every day, 8am – 8pm.
