Appeal for Information – after elderly woman pelted with eggs on Main Road, Bilton

HUMBERSIDE POLICE are appealing for information following an incident on Main Road, Bilton at approximately 8:30pm on Friday 29th June 2012.
A woman who was walking her dog along Main Road, Bilton stopped to speak to another elderly woman, when she was pelted with eggs from a passing car.
The victim described the car as being a small, old vehicle, blue in colour which was travelling quite slowly as its occupants threw the eggs at her, hitting her in the neck and lower body.
Following the incident the vehicle continued in the direction of Wyton.
The 70-year-old woman suffered bruising and swelling to her neck but did not require medical attention.
