HEDON TOWN COUNCIL is seeking a TOWN CLERK and RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER following the current postholder Mrs Joanna Richardson moving on to take the top job in another council.
NJC Scale Point 33 (£28,746.00) to 35 (£30,178.00) pro rata (dependant on experience/qualifications).
The position is average 105 hours per month over Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week. Attendance at evening and weekend meetings and events is a requirement of the job.
The successful applicant will need to manage a budget, motivate and manage staff, act as principal advisor to the council and link effectively with external partners and the community.
You will already hold CiLCA (Certificate in Local Council Administration) or be prepared to qualify within the first 12 months.

BURSTWICK Parish Council seeks a new Parish Clerk.
The part-time post is for 12 hours a week and the successful applicant will be required to work from home in a suitable office.
Duties include managing both the council’s administration and the services it provides for the people of Burstwick, servicing council meetings, fulfilling the statutory role of Responsible Financial Officer, undertaking research, advising councillors and carrying out such duties as are appropriate to the role of Parish Clerk.
The post is subject to a six-month probationary period and the successful applicant will be expected to hold the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) or be willing to undertake the necessary training to obtain the qualification.
Salary. NJC scale points 15 – 19 i.e. £8.613p to £9.551p per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Working from home allowances also given.
