Preston Christmas Tree Festival success

PRESTON Festival of Christmas Trees 2012 was a great success in raising money for the All Saints Church Restoration Funds. The Parish Council reported at its meeting on Wednesday that over £800 had been raised over the three weekends of the event.
Richard Thorp from All Saints told us:“We have had further donations given which made the total up to £900.
We wish to thank all the sponsors, the helpers and all those who visited us at the three open weekends and those who attended the services over the Christmas period. Without these people the event could not take place. Many thanks.”
“We are now working on the 2013 Christmas Tree display as there are only 45 weeks to the next switching on of the trees!!”
